Portugal FC drops division game

Portugal FC dropped a road game on Friday night to Toronto Croatia 1-0

On Friday night, Portugal FC traveled to the Hershey Center to take on second place Toronto Croatia. Portugal FC entered the game tied for third place, a position they would lose at the end of the night by dropping a 1-0 decision to Croatia.

In the 42nd minute Hugo Herrera fired a shot paced goaltender Michael Da Silva after beating two defenders by himself. The goal held up as Portugal FC was unable to break through in the second half.

Portugal FC return home where they are unbeaten this season on Friday night at Lamport Stadium when they will take on the St. Catharines Wolves. For tickets to the game call 905-564-4660 or contact tickets@portugalfc.ca
