On Friday August 22nd, PFC made its second visit to Centennial Park and the Serbian White Eagles, in front of a home crowd of 800 and a live Rogers TV audience. As the earlier encounter in the season at Centennial, Portugal FC came out victorious after another thriller. The game saw the inclusion of Ramon Bailey, and it was Bailey who got the game going with a shot that the White Eagles goalie could not hold. Young Wigor Gomes on loan from Portuguesa Sao Paulo, was quick to pickup the rebound and calmly slot the ball in the corner from 5 yards out. In the second half Portugal FC doubled the lead when Ramon Bailey notched onto a through ball from debutant 19 year old Gagan Natt. After allowing SWE back into the latter stages of the game,PFC captain Danny Amaral took matters into his own hands which paid its dividends in overtime, as Amaral placed a scorcher of a header in the roof of the net after Brazilian winger "Fiti" had done the legwork down the left side.

With just one day rest Portugal FC moved on to the Soccer Centre in Woodbridge to face the TFC Academy on Sunday for a 4pm kickoff, which at 4:01pm PFC took the lead in what was going to be a one sided affair. Ilailson Da Silva opened the scoring from a through ball by fellow Brazilian "Fiti".  In the 14th minute head coach Jose Testas was then forced into making two early substitutions, this due to injuries to sweeper Kevin McIntosh and wing back Gavin Fullar. Mcintosh, who came off in the first half against the White Eagles with a hip injury was replaced by stopper Yami Williams, and Fullar was replaced by the more offensive Brazilian born Gustavo Serrano, due to a lingering knee injury. After TFC had leveled the game, PFC restored the lead through captain Danny Amaral on the 45 minute mark. With Wigor Gomes being brought down in the box, Amaral slotted home his 7th of the season from the penalty spot. Just 10 minutes into the second half we saw Ilailson Da Silva double his goal tally not only for the game but the season, as he had been inserted in a more offensive role by head coach Mr Testas. Ilailson who is a product of Brazilian giant Flamengo's youth system, hit a curling free kick off the crossbar to please the crowd at the Soccer Centre.  A minute from time, seasoned striker Mike Di Luca made it 4-1 with a cracker from 25 yards that hit the top left corner after a pass from midfielder Ramon Bailey. In the 91st minute 20 year old striker Wigor Gomes made it 5-1 with a long shot that slotted into the bottom left corner. Gomes concluded PFC's scoring for the day before Toronto FC academy got a late second on virtually the last kick of the day.

Last Friday, Portugal FC hosted International division leaders Italia Shooters. With Portugal FC entering the game with players missing through suspension and injuries, they were billed by some as clear underdogs. However, longtime PFC striker Mike Di Luca knew otherwise and with 11 minutes gone in the game he calmly slotted home into an open net after hustling onto a lose ball. In the second half, winger Selmir Sehic doubled the lead with a spectacular lob from 45 yards, emulating the likes of David Beckham and Xabi Alonso in the English Premier League. Shooters quickly responded and made it 2-1 a few moments later. In the 75th minute, free kick specialist "Fiti" provided another one of his now well known free kick wonder goals to restore confidence among the PFC faithfuls. "Fiti", dubbed the Zico of the CSL by his peers, and scored his 4th free kick of the season. Italia Shooters featuring Rick Titus who played 90 minutes for TFC in the MLS the following day, did score a consolation goal in the 94th minute to make the final score 3-2.

The Sunday encounter between Brampton Lions and Portugal FC was postponed due to weather conditions at Victoria Park.

On Friday September 12th, Portugal FC host Serbia White Eagles at Lamport for an 8:00pm kickoff time. The last regular season match against division rivals SWE is sure to be another thriller, and PFC is looking for their loyal supporters to make their way down to Lamport Stadium.
